This means that writing a good sales copy requires a little skill as you can't just write it the normal way that you write your letters.

* Do my client need my product or service ?
* What benefits of my product/services will interest my client ?
2. COMPOSE A GOOD SUBJECT LINE
The key to making your client open and read your message is a good subject line. As you know that your client must open and read your sales letter before it can yield your desired result, so you must do a little work on your subject line to make it irresistible. It is important to know that a good subject line will not only stimulate your recepient[customer] to open your message, but it is also the first thing that would arouse their interest in your offer. These are a few clues to writing a good subject line that will work like magic on your clients. This tips will help you :
- State a powerful benefit of your product or services.
- Pique your client's curiosity with a short statement that will arouse their
interest to find out what you really have want to offer.
- Write your subject line with a news angle.
- Offer immediate gratification for your product or services.
- Personalizing your subject by putting your recepient's name in it will also help.
- Start your sales copy with something interesting that will be a prelude to the
remaining part of the sales copy. This may even be in form of a question or other
interesting statements and go on to tell your client what you have for them.
- Asure your client of the credibility of your product or services. Confiding them that
your product and services will deliver as promised. To back this up, you can also
include testimonials from those who have already used the product or services.
Also endorsement letter from important people in your industry will also help.
- Give your prospective customer a guarantee on your product/services. Giving them a
guarantee will increase the response that you will get as this assures them that you
really stand behind your offer.
- Don't forget to ask for order. After you have convinced your customers that your
product is the best for them, then go on and ask for order by providing a URL that
links the order page created for your product or service. And make sure that you ask
for order at least two or more times before you end your sales copy.
- Correct all grammatical errors and spelling mistakes in it
- Wrap your lines at 65 characters or less. Doing this will make your sales copy easy to
read and will prevent your message from being received chopped up by email clients that
enforce line wrapping at 60-65 character on message received.
- Break your paragraphs into short sentences for easier read and use sub-headings,
asterisks,dashes and ellipses to give your sales copy a nice look.
- Use ALL CAPS only when necessary as email messages written in ALL CAP are considered as
yelling.
